About the Role:
*Position: Behavioural Specialist
*Location: Primary and secondary schools in the local area
*Placement Types: Short-term, long-term, and potential permanent roles
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
*Proven experience in working with children or young people with behavioural challenges (e.g., in a school, residential, or youth setting)
*Strong communication and de-escalation skills
*Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students who require additional support
*Knowledge of behavioural management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively
*Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a consistent support network for students
Suitable Backgrounds Include:
*Previous roles such as teaching assistant, youth worker, learning mentor, SEN support, or social work
*Professional training or experience in mental health, special educational needs (SEN), or social care
