Job Description:
Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join their team. This is a part-time position in an office-based role. You will be responsible for the posting of sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, credit card statements and purchase ledger.
Location: Leeds
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 pro rata
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Process the whole Purchase Ledger
*Control the PO system
*Post the banking
*Upload and reconcile weekly sales invoices
*Monthly reconciliation of debtors and creditors
*Process at least one weekly payment run
*Process one monthly payment run
*Assist with month end tasks
*Support the year end where necessary
*Upload monthly invoices
You will need to demonstrate:
*Sage experience (desirable)
*Minimum Level 3 AAT or studying AAT (desirable)
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*Ability to prioritise work
