Job Title: Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher
Location: Manchester
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time, Flexible
Daily Rate:£90 - £110 (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic schools in Manchester. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people or a desire to gain experience in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support students in completing pre-set tasks during teacher absences
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students stay on task
- Assist with minor classroom management and answer questions within the lesson plan scope
- Provide feedback on student performance to the regular teacher
- Uphold school policies and promote a positive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in managing a classroom independently
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
