Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Independent Insurance Brokerage based on the outskirts of Leeds close to Thorpe Park.
They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.
Main duties will include:
*Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
*Handle premiums up to c£30,000
*Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
*Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
*Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships
*Broking risks for new business and renewals
*Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
*Working closely with the Corporate Broking team
*Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis
