Job Description:
Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Location: Sheffield, UK
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Purchasing Administrator to support their procurement team and assist in the day-to-day operations of the purchasing function.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the administration of purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders and managing supplier records.
*Support the team in sourcing reliable suppliers and ensuring supplier details are up-to-date.
*Help coordinate and track orders, deliveries, and stock levels.
*Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any order discrepancies.
*Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and documentation related to contracts and suppliers.
Key Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience in an administrative or purchasing role is beneficial.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
*Basic understanding of procurement principles (desirable but not essential).
*Willingness to learn and support the team in all purchasing activities.
