CNC Turner / Wokingham / £16.24 per Hour + Overtime

Location / Hours:
Based near Wokingham this role offers flexibility in start and finish times to suit your schedule, including Saturday and Sunday morning shifts. Free parking is available on-site.
*Standard Hours: 37.5-hour work week with opportunities for overtime
*Overtime: Paid at time and a half
*Flexible Shifts: Early morning, late afternoon, and weekend hours available for added flexibility
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Turner, you’ll be expected to:
*Set, Program, and Operate Mazak CNC Turning machines (or, if less experienced, set and edit programs)
*Self-Inspect to ensure components meet exacting quality standards
*Read Engineering Drawings for the accurate production of custom parts
*Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to deadlines
Requirements:
*Proven experience setting and programming CNC Turning machines, ideally Mazak
*Familiarity with CNC editing if full programming experience isn’t available
*Comfortable working to tight tolerances, producing high-quality parts
*Understanding of self-inspection processes with proficiency in using verniers, micrometers, and gauges
Desirable Skills:
Candidates with knowledge of 5S, Continuous Improvement, and CMM inspection processes will be at a distinct advantage.
