Job Description:
A prestigious organisation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Ash Vale on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £35,000.
The role involves overseeing timely shipments and ensuring that all logistics operations comply fully with HMRC regulations.
Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience in a similar position and demonstrate proficiency in INCO terms and HMRC compliance.
Role responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include:
*Send customs clearance emails for all inbound shipments on a daily basis.
*Collaborate in managing daily communication with freight forwarders, providing information on delivery destinations and ensuring that accurate shipping documents are supplied.
*Thoroughly understand and review all tariff classifications, maintaining them within SAP.
*Coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce to obtain necessary export documentation.
*Monitor all air, ocean, and road shipments, ensuring that each one has received the required approvals and authorisations.
*Have a comprehensive understanding of INCO terms and verify that all shipping documentation reflects the correct terms.
Person Specification of the Logistics Coordinator:
*Previous experience in a logistics position with ability to plan, organise and manage busy workload.
*Good understanding of HMRC Regulations.
*Excellent comprehension of INCO terms.
*Expertise in dealing with Chamber of Commerce.
*Good working knowledge of freight forwarders.
*Strong communication in a confident and effective manager.
Salary
Up £30,000 - £35,000
Position offers hybrid working - minimum 40% of working hours on site
