Job Description:
Teaching Assistant (TA) *Hourly Rate: £13.43
*Location: South Lancaster
*Job Type: Part time - Mornings Only
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am – 12:30 pm
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This is an immediate start position that offers a great opportunity to work in an educational setting and contribute positively to the learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities and support the teacher in managing the classroom.
*Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material initially introduced by the teacher.
*Provide support to students with special needs to help them achieve their educational goals.
*Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
*Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment for all students.
*Participate in school events and activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively with children and be sensitive to their educational and emotional needs.
*Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and learning abilities.
