Randstad Education is delighted to support a well-regarded secondary school in Manchester in its search for an experienced and passionate History Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a vibrant team and inspire students to engage with and appreciate history in a dynamic, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Teach History to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a focus on developing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
*Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons that cater to various learning styles.
*Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
*Participate in school-wide initiatives, department meetings, and professional development.
*Support students in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally, by providing guidance and encouragement.
*Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
Key Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a mandatory requirement.
*A passion for teaching History and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
*Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of student success.
*Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the updated service and references.
*Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
