Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of growing and exciting client based in Colnbrook.
Our fabulous client one of the world’s leading international logistics services providers by road, sea, air, rail and inland waterway are looking for two Airfreight Import Operators to join their fun and hardworking team at Heathrow airport.
In addition, it will be essential to have end to end and start to finish in exports. You will be responsible for, and will need to have already gained experience with the following.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare, review, and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
*Coordinate with logistics providers and shipping companies to arrange and track international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
*Assist with customs clearance processes, ensuring all shipments comply with export control laws, tariffs, and local regulations. Liaise with customs brokers to resolve issues and avoid delays.
*Work closely with sales, customer service, and external customers to address any export-related queries, concerns, or special requirements.
Experienced Required
In order to achieve the top salary for this role you need to have the following experience:
*Knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations (e.g., HS codes, VAT rules) is beneficial.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
*Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
*Basic understanding of international trade regulations, shipping processes, and customs procedures.
*Familiarity with export documentation and compliance is desirable.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
*Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
