Job Description:
We are looking for an Administrator to join our busy HR Team in Lewes. Candidates will need a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with people and will ideally have experience of HR Admin duties.
You will carry out processes in our current Job Evaluation (JE) Project, supporting the people advisors with correspondence, updating the relevant database, and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
You will also be required to assist with tasks such as conducting DBS renewal checks, external reference requests, and driving license checks.
The role gives you the opportunity to build good relationships with staff and managers and deliver a great service to both. It’s particularly suited to those that enjoy managing their own to-do-list whilst working as part of a team to put all the pieces in place.
Southdown is a stable, not-for-profit employer with around 850 staff who support approximately 9,500 vulnerable clients across Sussex. Our services include care and support for people with learning disabilities, mental health recovery services, employment support, community well-being services, housing support services for people at risk of homelessness and supported accommodation.
Our Values
Southdown is a psychologically informed organisation where the well-being and happiness of our employees’ matter. We’re committed to creating a positive and compassionate work environment where employees feel valued, respected, and inspired to do their best. In addition, we’re a family-friendly employer that recognises the importance of a work-life balance. If you share our values and want to work for an organisation that helps change lives for the better, we want to hear from you.
We are a Disability Confident Employer and are fully committed to supporting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and welcome applications from all candidates that meet our job specifications. ?If you feel there is a barrier that potentially prevents you from applying, do get in contact with us, as we are always happy to discuss (or arrange a discussion with the recruiting manager) to explore if any reasonable adjustments can be made to support your application.
Closing date for applications: 14th November 2024
Interviews will be held: 22nd November 2024
