Job Description:

GXO are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our B&Q site in Blyth – S81 8PU. You will lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on delivering operational excellence at all times.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on an ’any 5 from 7 shift’ pattern, typically Sunday to Thursday. The working hours will be 22:00 – 06:00

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £29,046 per annum, plus an additional night shift premium of 20%. What you’ll do on a typical day:
*Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development
*Support the FLMs in achieving the warehouse/transport operational KPIs and service levels, whilst driving improvement initiatives across the site
*Manage and own all elements of the admin, stock and systems processes, being the point of contact for issues, and finding resolutions
*Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities
What you need to succeed at GXO:
*Experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
*Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change
*Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
*Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
