Job Description:
Technical Project Manager *Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing)
*Location: London SE6 (Hybrid Working)
*Day Rate: PAYE £207.62, LTD/UMB £268.97
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the contract management for asset handback surveys, ensuring compliance with handback clauses. This role involves working closely with the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) to develop and manage a schedule of rectification works, ensuring the smooth transfer of assets back to the Council in satisfactory condition.
Day-to-day of the role: *Manage the contract for the asset handback survey, ensuring all handback clauses in the contract are adhered to.
*Collaborate with the PFI to develop a comprehensive schedule of rectification works aimed at managing the risk of assets transferring back in poor condition.
*Oversee the programme of rectification works to ensure quality and timely delivery.
*Handle daily PFI management tasks, including reviewing claims for defects and providing technical support on lifecycle works as needed.
*Understand the PFI project agreement thoroughly and negotiate with contractors to ensure they fulfil their contractual responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in technical project management, particularly in managing contracts and compliance with legal clauses.
*Strong understanding of PFI agreements and experience in negotiating with contractors.
*Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
*Experience in overseeing quality assurance and rectification programmes.
