We’re looking for a content marketer to join our team in Manchester. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for creating great content in the digital space. You will be an ’ideas’ person, someone who is always on the lookout how we can make improvements and bring our content calendar to life.

The right candidate will have some knowledge of SEO and content optimisation. Reporting to the Content and Social Media Manager, you’ll sit in the digital marketing team, but you’ll also collaborate with the central marketing teams across the country.

Our content needs to work across multi-channels, multi-brands and multi-disciplines within our business that all need to drive customer engagement and, ultimately, lead to business opportunities for us.

Experience:
*Experience of writing across the digital space
*Support growing our organic visibility and traffic
*Help develop a content plan and identify potential content pieces that can sit in a variety of platforms e.g. blog, newsletter, social media or podcast
*Pick up ad hoc content tasks at short notice and create engaging copy
*Link building: creating links to the content from other sources
*Experience uploading content to CMS platforms
*Perform regular, in-depth keyword research to identify new areas for content
*Gather data, generate reports to carry out performance analysis
*Help develop and implement SEO strategies
*Monitor online competitor activity and keep up-to-date with industry news including social media, websites and email newsletters
*Conduct analysis on brand websites to identify issues and areas of improvement
*Identify opportunities for potential outreach/link-building
*Keeping up to date with developments in the digital space, informing the rest of the team and key stakeholders


More about you:
*Proven experience writing content across multiple channels
*Previous experience of working with Content Management Systems
*Experience of working with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
*Experience conducting keyword research
*Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Evidence of repurposing content across multi-channels
*Ability to plan, manage workloads and demonstrate time management skills
*Experience of working within a multi-brand environment would be advantageous
*Experience of dealing with content that requires compliance approval
*Experience with Social Networks and reporting (such as LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook)
*Degree in a related subject is desirable
