Job Description:
Role: Procurement Officer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £27,000 - £37,000 dependant on experience
Length: 12-month FTC
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer position for a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers great benefits including remote/hybrid working, enhanced pension contributions and flexitime.
The Role:
*Supporting the Category Managers with end-to-end procurement projects
*Responsible for sourcing and negotiating terms with suppliers
*Managing procurement contracts
*Administering tender documentation
*Support and assist with the development of category strategies
*Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
*Assist with the reporting on procurement spend and efficiencies achieved for contracts awarded
The Person:
*Knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015
*CIPS qualified, or willing to work towards
*Commercially aware
*Analytical
*Verbal and written communication skills
