Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Ealing
Salary: £37,000 pa
Hours: Monday to Friday DAYS ONLY
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist! In this role, you will operate various manual machines, including lathes and mills, to produce and repair precision parts. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for working with mechanical components, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
*Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
*Perform Centre Lathe Turning.
*Use metrology equipment.
*Carry out thermal spraying and welding (training provided).
Key Skills:
*Strong problem-solving abilities.
*Excellent mechanical skills with great coordination.
*Attention to detail, accuracy, and a focus on safety.
*Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
*Effective written and verbal communication.
*Proficiency in Maths.
*Basic computer literacy.
*Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Recognised apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field.
*Experience with machine tools or mechanical assemblies.
*Familiarity with safety protocols in a workshop environment.
