Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based near St. Albans who are looking for a Junior Paraplanner to join their team.
The main purpose of this role is to provide the highest level possible of support to the Financial Services Sales Team. To deliver the agreed strategy and procedural objectives regarding compliance standards.
Providing vital support to the Consultants, expected to act as the technical interface between the consultants and the clients, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be responsible for providing a professional and holistic financial service to the Consultants and assist them in delivery to the clients.
*Technical research e.g. in DB schemes - speaking with ceding scheme administrators etc.
*Dealing with clients but not giving advice
*MIFID reporting, annual reviews
*Suitability Report writing assistance
*Preparing for meetings, meeting notes, follow up as required
*Relevant qualifications - ’RO’ papers and ’JO’ papers
*Cash flow planning admin, experience of this with any software preferred
*Compliance of client files and assist with file audits
*Other general client related tasks
Key Attributes
*Excellent report writing skills
*Good technical knowledge of advice and product options.
*Able to analyse statistics
*Able to conduct research for appropriate providers and investments.
*Good understanding of compliance issues.
*Time management skills.
*Interpersonal and IT skills.
Qualifications Required:
Preferred to have Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards.
