Job Description:
Well-established and award-winning Manchester based luxury Tour Operator are seeking an Airfares Specialist, an Amadeus wizz to ensure maximum airfare yield for their business. If you are experienced in Aviation Management for a Tour Operator and you are keen to join a company at an exciting time of growth, this could be your perfect opportunity. Hybrid working offered and fully remote consider for candidates where hybrid is not feasible, and you have the right skill to run with the role remotely! Starting salary up to £35k pa plus 25 days holiday, bank holidays & benefits!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for maximising yield on airfare content in bookings, assisting & coaching the Reservations & Operations teams along with actively communicating offers & incentives from airlines.
*Ensure maximum yield on airfare elements of bookings and maintain a record of additional margins made.
*Quality checks air part of all new bookings.
*Communicate all new airline tactical offers to the Res team.
*Assist Res with the air part of new bookings when help is required.
*Train new staff on Amadeus and how to make bookings and quote fares.
*Regularly coach the Res team on airfares.
*Liaise with airlines to resolve any booking problems with the Operations Team.
*Assist ticketing to resolve any pricing issues.
*Assist product in putting together tactical offers for promotion externally and communicate internally.
*Have overall control of all out-of-date range bookings to maximise yield when seats are bookable.
*Analyse data from 3rd parties to see what volume we do to try & get direct contracts with airlines.
*Responsibility for checking BSP link and dealing with any ADMs / ACM’s and querying any discrepancies.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary is very much experience dependent and in the region of £30k pa £35k pa basic, but with additional benefits including:
*Holidays - 25 days plus Bank Holidays. Plus, one extra holiday for every year of service - up to 5.
