Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in the LS10 area. You’ll play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students aged 4-19, working from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday. Opportunities for ad hoc, part-time, and full-time roles are available to fit your schedule!
Roles and Responsibilities:
*Assist students with PMLD in their daily activities and academic tasks, adapting resources to meet individual needs.
*Provide compassionate personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and respect.
*Encourage students to develop life skills and independence through engaging and tailored activities.
*Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to a cohesive learning environment.
*Observe and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform future planning.
*Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during activities, both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements:
*Experience in a SEND setting, particularly with PMLD, is essential.

*A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
