Job Description:
Are you an experienced and dedicated finance professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Andover based client as a Finance Manager.
This position reports directly to the Financial Controller and involves managing the finance accounts team on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support to the Financial Controller in areas such as Finance, Management Accounts and Purchase Ledger.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
*Timely and accurate production of management information and documentation.
*Oversight of year-end information and documentation, including statutory requirements.
*Developing and managing annual budgets, as well as quarterly reforecasting.
*Providing management information to internal parties, including management accounts and Board Reports.
*Reviewing and monitoring the performance of the Finance team and all produced information/documents.
*Managing professional relationships with third parties such as insurers, banks, auditors, and warranty providers.
*Leading, motivating, and training staff, conducting appraisals and job description reviews.
*Regularly reviewing and monitoring all processes involving the Finance Department for efficiency and relevance.
*Recruitment of new team members when necessary.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
*ACCA or CIMA Qualified or QBE with proven experience in a finance management role.
*Must have supervised staff.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Knowledge of statutory and financial regulations.
*Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
*Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
