Job Title: Lecturer in Forestry and Arboriculture
Location: Brinsbury
Working Hours: Part-time, 22.2 hours per week
Salary: Pro rata of £20,878 - £36,650 (i.e., £12,526.80 - £21,990) per annum (temp salary in line with this and based on experience).
Contract Type: Temp
Job Purpose
The role involves delivering high-quality teaching in Forestry and Arboriculture, responding to student needs, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities *Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging and effective lessons, prepare materials, and conduct timely assessments.
*Curriculum Development: Contribute to the curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and inclusivity.
*Administration: Complete necessary documentation and reports related to teaching activities.
*Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, following policies to ensure a safe environment.
*Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in relevant meetings and training, keeping updated on educational policies and practices.
Required Skills and Attributes *Commitment to the principles of inclusive learning.
*Understanding of educational policies, safeguarding, and diversity initiatives.
*Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support an enriching learning experience.
Additional Requirements *Compliance with health and safety policies.
*Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
*Maintain confidentiality in data handling as per data protection laws.
