Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: London (EC4A)
Hours: 8am - 5pm
Pay: Circa £24 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer based in a large, public building in the City of London (EC4A).
Essential Qualifications and Skills
*Recognized Mechanical and Electrical Engineering qualifications
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*Experienced in fault-finding for:
*BMS (Building Management Systems)
*LTHW (Low-Temperature Hot Water) systems
*CLTHW (Closed Loop Hot Water) systems
*HVAC, pumps, motors, LV power systems
*First Aid at Work certification
Desirable Qualifications
*City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
*Experience with Cooling Towers
*IPAF Certification for 3a & 3b machines
*Knowledge of the L8 Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
*Permit to Work (PTW) system knowledge and experience
Responsibilities
*Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
*Effective communication with customers on site.
*Follow Health and Safety guidelines and ensure robust practices.
*Prioritize workload and manage compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs.
*Support the account and broader business with other reasonable tasks.
