Job Description:
Our Client are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their team at a luxury residential development based in East London, E15.
Working Monday to Friday with the hours of 8am - 4pm (1 hour unpaid lunch).
Salary is £30,000 annually
Duties include:
*Basic plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing communal leaks so they don’t get worse, unclogging drains outside).
*Minor Electrical repairs (e.g., replacing bulbs, resetting magnetic door access).
*Painting and touch-ups for common areas.
*Basic carpentry tasks (e.g., repairing doors, adjusting closers).
*Resetting hardware (e.g., CCTV, broadband).
*Routine maintenance tasks such as assisting in the day to day running of building - including taking bins out once a week
*Scheduled maintenance tasks to be planned on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, with the involvement of the concierge team, ensuring that common areas are consistently well-maintained.
*Working regular hours on weekdays with availability for emergencies during evenings and weekends
*Promptly responding to maintenance requests from on site management.
*Keeping inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
*Regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
*Communicating with management and residents regarding maintenance schedules and updates.
