Job Description:
Are you a numbers-driven professional with a knack for financial analysis? We are looking for an ambitious and analytical Finance Analyst to join our client’s growing team based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic finance department, providing key insights that will influence business decisions and drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Analyse financial data to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
*Prepare monthly financial reports, analysing variances and trends.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and project planning.
*Conduct in-depth financial modelling and scenario analysis to aid business decisions.
*Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
*Assist in ad hoc financial projects and reporting as required.
Ideal Candidate:
*Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) are a plus.
*Skills: Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
*Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex financial information clearly.
*Attention to Detail: Ability to analyse large datasets accurately while identifying key insights.
*Team Player: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, collaborating across departments.
