Uniserve is a leading provider of innovative logistics solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our new warehouse.
Hours for this role are 14.00 to 22.00
Your Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
*Supervising and managing warehouse staff, assigning workloads, and evaluating performance
*Monitoring and reporting on warehouse productivity and efficiency
*Providing training and coaching to new team members on company standards, job duties, and customer service
*Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
*Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies
*Addressing staff performance and development issues
*Coordinating labor requirements to meet workload demands
*Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
*1 year supervisory experience in a warehousing environment is essential
*Experience in fast paced multi user organisation preferred - at least
*Strong adaptability and a willingness to embrace change
*A self-motivated and driven approach to work
*Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
*Proficiency in IT systems
*A solid understanding of logistics and warehousing operations
*Previous experience in bond/ETSF area management (desirable)
*Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
*A customer-focused mindset
*A commitment to working to standard operating procedures and ensuring site compliance
