Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
*Conduct detailed assessments of children’s needs in line with the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation.
*Develop and implement tailored support plans focused on the child’s safety, development, and well-being.
*Safeguard vulnerable children, ensuring their protection and well-being through appropriate interventions.
*Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services to provide comprehensive, child-centered support.
*Advocate for children’s rights, ensuring they have access to essential resources, services, and support networks.
*Regularly review and update support plans to respond to the child’s changing needs and circumstances.
*Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and uphold best practices in safeguarding and child welfare.
Requirements:
*3 years experience post qualification
*Action safeguarding procedures
