An exciting opportunity is now available for a dedicated Accountant to join an international distributer, office based in Warwickshire.
Client Details
My client is a £61 million turnover business and are looking for a capable Accountant for their team here in the UK. The company are a very successful distributor for the aviation industry and have a presence worldwide.
Description
*Bookkeeping (financial transactions)
*Bank reconciliations
*Checking over payroll once it has been completed
*Dealing with multicurrency invoices
*Debtor and Credit control activities, chasing payments to/from customers, suppliers etc.
*Responsibility of submitting Quarterly VAT returns
*Assist with external auditors
*General Finance responsibility for the UK office on a day to day basis.
*Accounts administration
*Supporting the MD when required
*Financial statement presentations
*Checking details with companies house where necessary
Profile
The successful candidate should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance or something similar
*Strong Excel skills
*Strong bookkeeping experience
*The ability to work well autonomously
*Familiar and experience of month end
*Self confidence and credibility
*Works well on initiative
*Meticulous
*Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
*Confident reporting to and working with senior leaders
Job Offer
*Salary ranging between £33,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience/qualifications)
*Permanent role with job security.
