This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, with the support of an established team of accountants working towards their professional qualifications.

Role Responsibilities *Overseeing a varied portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact
*Preparing complex limited accounts and reviewing work completed by junior staff
*Collaborating with other departments to deliver on project objectives, including valuations, cashflow forecasts, and restructuring advice
*Supervising and training junior team members, supporting their professional development
*Working closely with the Partner to ensure effective workflow management and delegation
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including attending client meetings when necessary
*Handling ad hoc client queries and providing support across various departments
*Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing new systems and controls
About the Firm This well-respected accountancy practice has been successfully operating in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 30 years.
Recently expanding through mergers and becoming part of a national group, the firm is known for offering a wide range of services, including accounts, audit, tax, payroll, and more. The Stratford office has around 50 team members and serves a diverse client base across industries like property, retail, construction, and manufacturing.

Candidate Requirements *ACA or ACCA qualified, with solid experience in managing client portfolios
*Strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and accounting standards relevant to SMEs
*Experience in accounts preparation and reviewing, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
*Excellent communication and organisational skills, with great attention to detail
*A proactive attitude with a passion for growth and learning
*Familiarity with CCH accounting software is beneficial but not essential
