Quality Inspector - Welwyn Garden City - 6 Month FTC
Quality Inspector - Package Overview
*6 Month FTC With Possibility of Extension

Quality Inspector - Company Overview
Our client is a market leading manufacturer who are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Inspector to join their quality team. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, especially in a demanding environment where precision is paramount.
The Quality Inspector will support the quality team through various inspection techniques, ensuring that a diverse range of products meets all regulatory and customer specifications.
Quality Inspector - Key Responsibilities
*Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with drawings and documentation, generating detailed inspection reports and First Article Inspection Reports.
*Oversee and maintain calibration systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
*Actively participate in the Non-Conformance and Return Material Authorisation processes, including raising quality alerts, quarantining, and scrapping parts when necessary.
*Perform in-depth investigations on quality issues, propose and implement containment actions.
*Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions, and recommend process improvements where applicable.
*Address quality-related concerns with both customers and suppliers, maintaining clear and effective communication.
Quality Inspector - Position Requirements
*HNC or an equivalent qualification in a technical field related to quality or engineering.
*Proven experience in quality inspection, ideally within aerospace, defence, or automotive.
*Familiarity with quality standards (AS9100/AS9120, ISO9001).
*Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, with a solid understanding of technical drawings.
*Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*Self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude towards achieving results.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
*Effective communicator at all levels.
