Robertson Bell are excited to partner with this public sector organisation to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager on a part-time basis. In this role you will be assisting the Financer Manager with a variety of month end duties, completing reconciliations and processing invoices.
In this Assistant Finance Manager position, you will be:
*Completing a variety of month end responsibilities, including journals and bank reconciliations.
*Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, including posting journals and accruals.
*Liaising with the Finance Manager on year end related work.
*Processing invoices with regards to expenditure, making sure to resolve any discrepancies there within.
*Maintaining the fixed assets register.
*Posting payments and overseeing the weekly BACS run.
Based in East London, the successful candidate will enjoy a three day, part time working week, with the expectation of three to four office visits per month. This Assistant Finance Manager will join a warm and welcoming team and report to a highly experienced Head of Finance.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Part qualified status in either ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA (AAT level four is also acceptable)
*Strong accounts payable experience, and a willingness to take on month end responsibilities.
*Experience within the public sector or the wider not-for-profit sector.
*The skill prioritise within a fast-paced environment.
*Have an urge to progress and advance their capabilities within a finance role.
