Job Description:
A leading US law firm in London is seeking a dedicated Corporate and AML Legal Assistant to join its top-ranked corporate team. This permanent, full-time role offers excellent training and the chance to work with a world-class team on high-profile international matters.
As a Corporate and AML Legal Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the firm’s AML team to manage compliance queries from major clients, their portfolio companies, and third parties. You’ll gain experience across funds, tax, M&A, and finance, supporting entity formation processes, maintaining essential documentation, and handling internal and client communications. Responsibilities also include updating internal databases, assisting with billing, and managing various aspects of the client’s fund and investment structures.
Ideal candidates will bring solid experience in legal compliance or professional services, with a background in AML or funds experience preferred. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency with Excel and document management systems is required, and a collaborative, flexible approach is key, as overtime may occasionally be necessary (with paid overtime eligibility).
If you’re a proactive, self-motivated professional looking to grow within a respected international firm, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in corporate and AML work.
