Role: Software Development Engineer in Test ( SDET )
Salary: up to £60,000 + Bonus
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)
Our client, a leading technology company based in Cambridge are on the lookout for a Software Development Engineer in Test ( SDET ) due to a period of growth. Their software services are market leading, across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
*Participating with the rest of the team in identifying areas of risk. Determining how they can be mitigated and where testing can add value.
*Creation and maintenance of tools to aid exploratory testing
*Creation and maintenance of tools to run simulations looking for performance/load/stress testing issues.
*Creation and maintenance of automated integration tests.
*Helping to recreate and troubleshoot issues.
*Acceptance testing in collaboration with the Product Owners
About you:
*3+ years in software development as a software tester, engineer, or similar role.
*Proven experience in programmatically testing complex software products.
*Technical mindset with strong problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities.
*Strong interpersonal skills; collaborative, empathetic, and team-oriented.
*Nice-to-have: C#, reading production code for architecture insights, unit testing.
*Additional experience: .NET Core with SQL Server, and test environment maintenance.
