Top 20 Accountancy Practice are seeking Managers to join their dynamic department.

This key role requires a client-focused professional with excellent technical skills and the ability to convey complex VAT information to non-experts.

Key Responsibilities:


*Primarily advisory-focused, with occasional support for compliance functions.
*Review VAT returns and assumptions prepared by compliance specialists.
*Manage a client portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met, work is within budget, and minimal partner/director review time is needed.
*Handle a wide range of VAT issues, especially in property and NFP sectors.
*Work closely with VAT Managers/Directors on various advisory and consultancy projects.
*Take ownership of smaller projects and work directly with clients and colleagues.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

VAT Advisory:


*Manage client VAT relationships across industries.
*Advise on international services with multi-country establishments.
*Handle property issues for commercial and NFP clients.
*Review contracts and advise on VAT wording.
VAT Compliance:


*Occasionally prepare and submit VAT returns for complex businesses.
*Review VAT returns prepared by compliance staff.
*Handle VAT registrations, de-registrations, and groupings/de-groupings.
