Role Objectives:
Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to join their commercial team. This individual will be responsible for driving growth through new business development and account management in the South West, directly supporting the company’s strategic growth plans.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Serve as a key member of the sales team, reporting directly to the Sales Director.
*Research and develop leads for potential clients and pursue active engagement.
*Create and capitalize on new business opportunities aligned with company goals.
*Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring regular communication and addressing their ongoing needs.
*Develop and deliver structured sales plans with measurable goals in line with the company’s commercial strategy.
*Analyse customer needs and design service solutions that align with them.
*Oversee projects within your portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with health and safety standards.
*Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and strengthen key accounts.
*Contribute to margin and profit targets by ensuring projects meet financial requirements.
*Produce and manage RAMS documentation to maintain high standards in service delivery.
Required Experience and Skills:
Essential:
*Proven experience managing a remote sales region.
*A track record of successful sales in a B2B environment.
*Problem-solving mindset, able to develop creative solutions for client needs.
*Strong experience in the HVAC industry with a familiarity with contracts and facilities managers.
*A self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
*Knowledge of the HVAC, mechanical engineering, or building services sector.
*Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, from technical staff to senior management.
Desirable:
*Engineering degree or HNC preferred.
*Advanced knowledge of HVAC and mechanical engineering sectors is an advantage.
