Job Description:
Role: Family Support Worker
Location: Across the North West of England and North Wales
Pay: £18.50-£20ph
(Flexible hours 1-4-hour days)
Prospero are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker within the Merseyside area. This flexible, part-time role offers 1-4-hour days of work per week, making it ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in the community while balancing other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide emotional and practical support to families and young people, helping them navigate challenges.
*Assist families in accessing local resources and services.
*Respite care within the community.
*Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement family support plans.
*Ensure the safety and well-being of children and families at all times.
*Supervising family contact sessions.
Skills & Qualifications:
*A minimum of 1 years UK based experience within the health & social care sector.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
*Child and Adult DBS - on the update service
