Interim Financial Controller - 6 month contract
£450-£550 per day (inside IR35)

I am partnered with a rapidly scaling PE backed FinTech business who are experiencing organic growth due to expansion into new International markets and are currently seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join on a 6 month interimcontract.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, annual financial statements and regulatory reporting
*Ownership and review of month end close, cost accounting and overseeing the accounts payable function
*Working on intercompany balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing month end transactions and ensuring records on all financial transactions
*Developing balance sheet procedures, monthly reconciliations, and collating financial data for preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax legislation
*Building out robust financial control processes and enhancing the internal control framework
*Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, outsourced accounting providers and liaising with regional offices
About you
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CAANZ/CA qualified - experience from big 4/top 10 is highly desirable
*Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
*Previous experience working in FinTech/SaaS/Financial Services/Banking industry is ESSENTIAL
*Able to work in a fast paced, start-up environment, build relationships with senior stakeholders
*Excellent attention to detail, analytical and data driven
*Experience with SAP and Xero is highly desirable
