Field Service Engineer, £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Based from Thetford
Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week
About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the industrial services sector, is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity for a professional with expertise in maintaining and servicing industrial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment functions efficiently, providing top-level service, and working both independently and within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform service, repair, fault diagnosis, and commissioning of new equipment.
*Effectively utilize the computer system to manage tasks and records.
*Communicate customer requirements and any site changes to service coordinators in writing.
*Identify spare part requirements and report these, including part numbers, to the service team.
*Refer any product or service complaints to the relevant manager for investigation.
*Share solutions, successes, and opportunities with the Service Manager.
Key Skills & Experience:
*HND/HNC in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential).
*Ability to diagnose and solve equipment faults.
*Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
*Excellent communication, decision-making, and IT skills.
*Ability to prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
*Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
