Become a Teacher in Bedford
Tick Education are looking for candidates who are looking to become a teacher in Bedford Secondary Schools!
Working for a supply agency as either an unqualified teaching assistant, cover supervisor or instructor will give you a head start when applying for a PGCE or another course to become a qualified teacher. The experience gained will be valuable on any application made to join on a teaching course.
Tick Education offer training to become a cover supervisor, and our consultants will guide you on best practices in schools.
Requirements for applying.
Working with children either as a sports coach, guide/scout leader, volunteer at a school for 3 months or more.
Be willing to start as an unqualified teaching assistant to gain experience.
Be able to attend our free training for cover supervisors.
Be able to supply last employer reference details.
Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS.
