Job Description:
Job Title: Residential Conveyancer
Location: Bedfordshire
Cooper Lomaz is recruiting on behalf of a reputable legal firm for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join their team. This full-time, permanent role offers a great opportunity to work across a comprehensive range of residential conveyancing areas.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Conveyancing, you will handle a diverse caseload of residential property matters, ensuring the highest standards of client care and legal advice. You will play a critical role in managing client relationships and delivering services in line with professional standards and compliance requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
*Manage a full range of residential conveyancing transactions, including Leasehold, Freehold, Purchases & Sales, RTB, Re-mortgages, Lease extensions, Transfer of Equity
*Provide competent legal advice and maintain high standards of client care in accordance with the SRA Code of Conduct
*Engage in business development activities, with a focus on generating fees to meet agreed targets
*Stay up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD), CQS, and internal training requirements
*Adhere to deadlines and ensure efficient case management
Required Skills:
*Minimum of 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing
*Strong client care skills and ability to provide professional legal advice
*Solid IT skills and experience with case management systems (desirable)
*Effective business development skills and capability to generate fees
*Proven ability to handle a personal caseload independently
Desired Skills:
*Good drafting and writing skills
*Excellent communication and technical abilities
*Experience in supervising and training team members
Experience:
*Demonstrated experience in residential conveyancing and case management
*Familiarity with compliance and CPD requirements
Salary & Benefits:
