Job Description:
The role
As a Framework Project Manager you will take an active part in the management of projects for our Stafford & Peterborough offices including all aspects of the project lifecycle, programme task management and resource management, supported by Project Managers Office and engineering teams, for the delivery of the project in both technical compliance and quality. Attending meetings with clients to discuss the design and delivery of the project there is a requirement for good commercial and communication skills.
The role will also include maintaining good relationships with our framework managers and leveraging our framework agreements for both Stafford & Peterborough offices as well as our wider client base to help Adsyst attain profitable work orders and contracts.
You will also take an active part in the Sales team responsible for assisting with the day-to-day production of quotations, tender information and other related aspects of the sales process for the Stafford & Peterborough offices, with the ability to offer cover if other members of the team are on Annual Leave / sickness.
The role will be to assist the Regional Commercial Manager and the Senior Engineering Delivery Manager to delivery projects successfully, ensure resources are planned in against appropriate tasks to ensure the office is generating sufficient profit and helping to improve procedures and processes within the offices for the benefit of the company.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and good knowledge of PLC’s, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products.
Full-time position (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)
What we are looking for:
*Experienced in attending site visits to better understand project requirements and attend sales events to develop commercial awareness / network with potential customers
*A good understanding of the project life cycle and industry standard technologies / equipment to be confident in producing quotations with minimal input from the engineering team
*Exeperience in project / programme management activities
What we require from you:
*Previous experience in the control systems industry will be highly beneficial
*Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
*Project / Programme management experience
*Estimation/ quotation experience and commercial awareness
*Excellent customer service experience
*Ideally will have working in a similar position before in PMO or sales department
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Clean UK Driving License
*Must be eligible to work in the UK
