Employment Opportunity - Customer Service Assistant
About the Role and You
We’re looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to help our business serve more customers more efficiently. A pleasant and helpful nature is more important to us than formal qualifications, although you ideally have both. You do need to enjoy talking to people and trying to make their day better by solving their problems or frustrations, so an engaging, positive, and cheerful disposition is a major ’plus’.
The role is primarily to support the Customer Service Team; a small but friendly, dedicated, and professional group of good people. However, you’ll also have the opportunity to help out with some other in-house enterprises, so no two days will be the same. You won’t get bored…
Key Requirements:
*Flexible ’can do’ cooperative attitude.
*Cheerful, positive, and helpful, and easily get on with others.
*Prepared to ’muck in’ to help out with stuff that’s not listed.
*Organised and proactive. You meet deadlines.
*Strong interpersonal skills, great team worker, and can maintain confidentiality.
*Good communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have great attention to detail.
*Fluent in written and spoken English, with a sound grasp of standard grammar.
*Excellent computer skills - minimum Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and web browsers.
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, with an-hour (unpaid) lunch break.
Location: Manvers, Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Term: Permanent (subject to passing 6-month probationary period)
Start: Immediate (subject to satisfactory references)
