We are seeking a Business Development Manager who excels at forging partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in expanding our customer base, enhancing market presence, and managing key client relationships across various industries, including defence, marine, and aerospace. Your insights will directly impact the business as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
*Identify and build relationships with new clients and key stakeholders.
*Conduct market analysis to uncover growth opportunities and inform product development.
*Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Profile
The successful Business Development Manager will ideally live in the South/South West region of the UK and will:-
*Have a strong commercial background selling into the defence/marine sector.
*Have experience in working on lengthy sales processes, adopting a consultative approach.
*Possess strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills
*Be able to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels- both internally and externally.
*Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically and implement solutions in a technical environment.
*Be a self motivated and ambitious individual, with the drive to meet and exceed targets.
