Job Description:
Title: Join Our Team as a Project Engineer and Contribute to the Exciting World of FMCG!
Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our client in the fast-paced world of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The successful candidate will join us on a remote basis with site visits where needed. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, utilizing CAD skills and ensuring that projects run smoothly from conception through to delivery stage. Ideally this candidate would also be able to continue after 6 months into the delivery phase through to completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within project engineering roles
Skills:
FMCG experience - those with confectionary and snack sector experience would be beneficial
CAD Skills - Utilize your proficiency with Computer-Aided Design software to create plans and blueprints necessary throughout all stages of each project.
Feasibility Studies - Conduct thorough analyses that examine potential benefits, limitations & challenges involved during various phases; assess risks associated before making any critical decisions about implementation routes.
Adaptability - Stay flexible even when faced with changing timelines or other unexpected obstacles along the way by always being ready-to-adjust strategies quickly based upon new information gathered at short notice.
Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you can expect responsibilities like these;
1) Adaptability and quick response to work with ever changing designs to work towards multiple factory site upgrades.
2) Liaising with the Programme Manager and local teams to ensure smooth visits and drawings.
3) Oversee compliance standards related specifically around confectionary & snack product lines which we’re known best for producing consistently high-quality products year-round
