Job Description:
Staffroom Education are currently looking for an Administrator in the Cardiff area. The position is full-time, temporary, and with an immediate start.
An Administrator is required to work within a busy Inclusion & Wellbeing department. Their role involves tasks such as maintaining student records, attendance tracking, generating reports, and assisting teachers and staff with general support.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
*Manage daily administrative tasks, including but not limited to attendance records, student enrollment, and staff schedules
*Coordinate school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and student activities
*Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members
*Use SIMS for updating and maintaining student records and keeping staff informed of any changes in real time
*Handling receipts and invoices for payment in and out of the school
Requirements:
*Administration experience is essential, experience with SIMS software is highly desirable for this role
*Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with staff and parents alike
*Autonomous and able to efficiently handle a range of tasks that will often fluctuate day to day
