Job Overview
As part of the Supply Chain team the Import Merchandiser will support the Production Merchandisers to ensure smooth and efficient production orders, maximising delivery potential to meet market targets. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to drive production efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities *Data & Reporting: Assist with preparing and updating production data and reports for the team.
*Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, follow up on order status, and manage delays.
*Critical Path Management: Create and manage production timelines for allocated vendors to ensure timely delivery.
*Production Scheduling: Monitor and adjust factory schedules to ensure orders are on track and meet deadlines.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchandising, Operations, and Product Development teams to maximise production opportunities.
*Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to process enhancements within the supply base.
Essential Experience & Skills *Experience in a similar role (Import Merchandiser / production merchandising, garment manufacturing, etc.).
*Strong understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
*Experience in Fashion industries preferred.
*Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
