FP&A Manager | North Hampshire (Hybrid)
£80,000, plus bonus, hybrid / flexible working, and extensive suite benefits

I’m keen to speak with highly commercial senior FP&A professionals bosting demonstrable experience in designing, building, and maintaining group consolidation models.
This business-critical role sits at Group Level for a multi-national specialist manufacturer. Reporting the Group FC, you core accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
*Develop and continuously enhance group reporting formats, systems and processes which will enable the delivery of high-quality financial information to executive management of the Group.
*Build, maintain and improve the group consolidation model, including the implementation of consolidation software and utilisation of data visualisation tools such as PowerBI.
*Provide those valuable strategic insights which only become visible with the possession of a complete and in-depth understanding of both the Operating Companies’ (OpCos’) and group’s performance
*Help to determine the optimal layout for financial reporting and issue pro formas to OpCos for completion along with briefing notes which set out how and when they are to be completed.
*Closely review incoming monthly reporting from all OpCos each month. Raise questions with the controllers to gain an understanding of key trends and variances, enabling the presentation of clear and thoughtful analysis of reported entity and consolidated figures to the GFC.
*Help to create and then maintain an intelligent 13-week cashflow process which captures likely funding inflows and outflows and facilitates effective group treasury activities.
*Work closely with the Group Financial Accountant to ensure alignment between the management and statutory reporting of year end results through an understanding of the technical reporting standards applicable to each of the entities within the group;
*Prepare financial models which enable dialogue and sensible challenge to be held of new strategic initiatives such as the exploitation of different commercial models, tactical investment in capital expenditure or the proposed entry into different sales market sectors or territories;
*Participate in the selection of future consolidation and other data handling tools and take a central role in the implementation of these;
*Champion the development of PowerBI within the Group Finance function as part of the data analytics

*Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA equivalent with 5+ years PQE.
*In depth knowledge of financial and business processes, systems and activities.
*Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
*Company consolidation techniques.
*Accounting standards and financial statutory requirements.
*Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements Self-motivated and adaptable to changing business priorities.
*Strong PC modelling skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to develop good working relationships.
