Commercial Sales Executive (Insurance)
£28-32k
Harlow
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Southam Selections are currently working with an Insurance company in Harlow who are looking for a strong Sales Executive to join their SME team. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth and establishing long-term relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities include;
*New Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals. Develop a robust pipeline of prospective clients to drive sales growth.
*Client Relationship Management - Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing commercial clients. Understand their unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
*Sales Presentations - Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Clearly articulate the value of our insurance products and services.
*Negotiation and Closing - Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals. Employ effective closing techniques to convert leads into customers and meet or exceed sales targets.
*Market Analysis and Strategy - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs. Utilise this knowledge to develop effective sales strategies.
*Collaboration with Internal Teams - Work closely with Head of Sales and Insurers to facilitate smooth policy issuance and address client inquiries. Ensure that clients receive exceptional service throughout the sales process.
*Sales Performance Tracking - Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
Skills and Experience
*Proven experience in sales, preferably in commercial insurance or related industry with a record of achieving sales targets.
*Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to explain complex concepts to clients.
*Results oriented mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
*Ability to influence and persuade clients effectively, using tailored sales pitches and value propositions that resonate with their needs.
*Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client accounts, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
*Ability to assess client needs and challenges, propose effective solutions, and address any issues that arise during the sales process.
*Strong diligence in preparing proposals, contracts, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
