Job Description:
Assistant Building Manager | Chatham, Kent | £37,000 PA
What would your day look like as an Assistant Building Manager?
Provide operational support and administration to the Building Manager, liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams, and perform ad hoc tasks to enhance business operations and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Support & Administration:
*Assist the Building Manager and Lease & Contract Coordinator during busy periods.
*Manage onboarding, renewals, referencing, and payment processing.
*Conduct pre-move-in, check-out, and inspection tasks.
Customer Interaction:
*Handle tenant enquiries, schedule viewings, conduct tours, and manage maintenance requests.
*Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
Tenancy Management:
*Support tenant renewals, end-of-tenancy procedures, inspections, and dilapidation management.
*Assist with tenant move-ins and manage planned maintenance tasks.
General Support:
*Provide cover for Resident Hosts as needed.
*Assist with community events and other duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
*Real estate knowledge, strong organisation, communication, and IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
*Ability to manage priorities, customer care focus, and commitment to personal development.
*Alignment with company values and commitment to customer care.
*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
*Ability to work in a dynamic role, meeting strict deadlines.
*Self-motivated and energetic with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
*Demonstrated accountability and integrity in actions and development.

*Salary: up to £37,000 PA (experience-dependent)
*Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends) 9am-5:30pm On site
*25 days annual leave + bank holidays
