Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising inventory levels and supporting the overall efficiency of our inventory team with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This position involves being the primary point of contact for National Accounts regarding all stock-related enquiries. It will require strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Additionally, the ability to swiftly adapt to changing pressures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
*Full ownership of product lifecycle from launch, promotions, and stock exit.
*Be the first point of contact for customers including resolution of stock issues.
*Stock optimisation using Slim4 forecasting software, whilst staying within warehousing & budget restraints
*Analyse data from various sources (Slim4/Web portals/Excel) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
*Prepare forecasts to incorporate seasonality with a monthly review of all SKUs to ensure that the correct orders are placed & prioritised
*Monitor supplier order books and work with our Far East suppliers to ensure orders meet On-Time In-Full (OTIF) standards and effectively plan for product availability.
*Liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels to advise on decision making
*Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for management and other departments.
*Support the manager and take on a senior role within the department
*Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Experience/Skills required
*At least 3 years proven experience in a product led Supply Chain environment
*Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel or similar)
*Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., Slim4, ERP systems)
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
*A collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently when needed
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, 4pm finish on Fridays
