Role Responsibilities *Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring all deadlines are met
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including identifying tax planning opportunities
*Taking new client meetings and helping clients grow their businesses
*Leading and managing a team of bookkeepers and accountants to produce accurate and timely accounts and tax returns
*Planning and reviewing work for the team, providing guidance and support where necessary
*Preparing complex Limited Company accounts, as well as Corporation Tax, Partnership Tax, and Personal Tax returns
*Preparing monthly and/or quarterly management accounts, including variance analysis for clients
*Reviewing VAT returns prepared by junior staff and offering mentorship and encouragement

Candidate Requirements *ACA or ACCA qualified with over 7 years of experience in practice
*Strong experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
*Experience in dealing with all aspects of Limited Companies, as well as Sole Traders and Partnerships
*Technically capable of producing statutory accounts to a high standard
*Solid experience in corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT
*Experience with accounting software such as Freeagent, Xero, Sage 50, and IRIS (training can be provided)
*Ability to delegate work and mentor junior staff
